When you run recurring research — annual studies, tracking surveys, or repeated project types — duplicating an existing project saves you from rebuilding everything from scratch. This guide shows you how to duplicate, edit, and launch a copy of any previous project.
Why Duplicate Projects
Rather than configuring a new project from the ground up, duplication carries over your setup details, screener questions, audience settings, and video questions. You simply update what has changed.
Access the Duplicate Option
Find the project you want to copy on your dashboard or within the Projects tab. Open the project, locate the three-dot menu on the right side, and select Duplicate Project.
Edit the Duplicated Project
After duplication, use the pencil icon in each section to modify details:
- Rename the project to differentiate it from the original.
- Update the project background and start dates to reflect the new study timeline.
- Adjust audience settings, screeners, and quotas as needed for your current research objectives.
- Review and revise video questions in the final section to ensure they align with your updated goals.
Submit for Review
Once all sections are updated, submit the project for approval. You will receive email confirmation when the project is live and ready to collect responses.
