When you only have text data — such as open-ended survey responses or interview transcripts — you can import it directly into Voxpopme for analysis without needing any accompanying audio or video files.
Prepare Your Data
Clean your spreadsheet by removing special characters and symbols, replacing them with text alternatives where needed. Add a column titled “Text Only” with values set to 1 to signal that the upload contains text without accompanying media.
Upload via Bulk Importer
Create a new project using the Import Video template, then use the Bulk Importer tool to submit your transcript data. The system automatically recognizes column headers, which you can adjust within the platform if needed.
Map Your Fields
During the upload process, designate at least one column as Transcript Data and identify the Text Only field as supplementary data. This ensures Voxpopme handles the import correctly and processes your content as text-only entries.
Monitor Import Progress
Track your import through the management dashboard — you do not need to stay on the page while processing completes. Once finished, all transcript materials appear in the Projects section ready for analysis.
Analyze Your Transcripts
Use the platform’s advanced filtering capabilities to examine your transcript data. Text-only submissions display without video content, while any supplementary information you included appears in the data tab for segmentation and filtering.
